Allison (Landreth) Albert

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Hazel Dickens. Her music always brings me back to my roots. My father was born in McComas and raised in the Crane Creek coal camp, and my mother was from Speedway. They were both proud to be from a region that fostered such soulful talent, and luckily they passed that appreciation on to us. We will miss Hazel, but will remember her through her recordings and stories.
