Obituary for Eula Virginia Pritchett (Mullins)

Eula Virginia  Pritchett (Mullins)
Eula Virginia Pritchett, 90, of Boonville, NC, formerly of 412 Oliver Avenue in Princeton, died Monday, January 16, 2012 at Forsythe Memorial Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Born December 25, 1921 in Oakvale she was the daughter of the late Rev.Charles Wingo Mullins and Willie Smith Mullins. Eula was a graduate of Oakvale High School and was a retired cook for the Mercer County School System last cooking at Princeton High School. She was a member of the Kee Street United Methodist Church in Princeton. In addition to her parents, her husband, James Clarence “Jimmy” Pritchett; son, Clarence Pritchett; step-daughter, Marlene Grush; brothers, Laksie, Herbert, Vernie, Howard and Harry Mullins; and sisters, Lebren Mathena Pansy Elmore, Dora Long, Leora Mathena and Hazel Mullins, preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lou Baity and husband Roland of Boonville, NC; one son, Larry Ronald “Ronnie” Mullins and wife Dubrena of London, KY; two step-sons, Robert “Bob” Pritchett and wife Carol of Radford, VA, and Wallace Pritchett of Verona, VA.; one brother, Buster Mullins and his wife Betty; sister-in-law, Catherine Mullins and her husband Harry of Bluefield; several nieces and nephews and her special friends, extended family, residents and staff of Share-A-Home in Boonville, NC where she made her home after moving to North Carolina in 2010. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Tony Reed and Rev. Raymond Klaiber officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Pastor Mark Elmore officiating. Those attending the graveside service are asked to be at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton by 10:30 AM on Thursday. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home 5:00 P.M. to the service hour on Wednesday (today).
