Bessie Pauline  Lynch (Leonard)
Bessie Pauline Lynch, 80, of 516 Woodland Lane in Princeton died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, in Princeton. Born October 31, 1931 in Carroll Co., VA she was the daughter of the late Ellis Leftwich Leonard and Margie Mae Hawkins Leonard. Pauline was a member of the Lilly Grove Baptist Church in Princeton where she taught the Young Adult Sunday School Class, was active in the WMU, was a Bible School Director, and a member of the choir. She was also a former member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Princeton. In addition to her parents, three sisters, Daisy Leonard, Irene Pennington, and Georgene Dixon; and two brothers, Robert Leonard and Randolph Leonard preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of sixty two years, Howard Lawrence Lynch of Princeton; two sons, Rick Lynch of Raleigh, NC and Ray Lynch and wife Vicki of Princeton; four grandchildren, Joseph Lynch and wife Gretchen of Raleigh, NC, Drew Lynch and wife Leeann of Colorado Springs, CO, Josh Lynch and Jenn Lynch both of Princeton; three great grandchildren, Logan Lynch, Millie Lynch, and Piper Lynch; four brothers, James W. Leonard of Wytheville, VA, Ellis Leonard of Fries, VA, Donald Leonard and wife Dorothy of Galax, VA, and Frank Leonard and wife Nancy of Wytheville, VA; and special caregivers, Ruth Lane, Flo Taylor, and staff at Cassells Board and Care. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Bruce Woodson and Ray Lynch officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM today.
