John Christopher “Choo” Anderson, 37, of War, WV died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born August 19, 1974, in Baltimore, Maryland he was the son of the late Barbara Carol Brewster Anderson. He was a former Emergency Vehicle Operator for the McDowell County Emergency Ambulance Authority. Before his health failed, he attended Immanuel Baptist Church in War. “Choo” is survived by one son, Austin Jacob Anderson of Berwind, WV; one sister, with whom he made his home, Carmen Leanne Kendrick, her husband, Marcus, and son, Christopher, of War, WV; one brother, Michael Ramsey, his wife Donna, and children, John, Kasondra, and Mackenzie, of War, WV; aunt, Sharon Brewster of Max Meadows, VA; and numerous cousins. In keeping with his wishes, “Choo” will be cremated. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the Immanuel Baptist Church in War with Rev. Spencer Oxford officiating.
