Obituary for Pauline Lee

Pauline Lee, 72, of Matoaka died Monday, May 21, 2012 at her residence. Born August 11, 1939 in Arista, WV she was the daughter of the late Jimmie Lee and Alene Anglin Lee. She was a graduate of Matoaka High School and Southwestern Business College in Charleston, SC. Pauline was a retired health care provider with the West Virginia Council on Aging and was a member of the Hiawatha Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Paul A. Lee and Michael D. Lee; four brothers, James Edward Lee, Clarence Lee, Clifford Lee and Archie Lee; and one sister, Billie Hill. Survivors include four daughters, Teresa Johnson and husband Byron of Charleston, SC, Cherie Kinlaw and husband James, Tina Hamlett and Donna Hamlett all of Atlanta, GA; two sons, Larry Hamlett and Barry Hamlett of North Carolina; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie Lee of Hiawatha, Carolyn McKinney of Ambroy, NJ; four brothers, David Lee of Giatto, Ted Lee, Mark Lee and Fred Lee all of Roanoke, VA; and a special cousin that was raised with Pauline, Frank Stieff of Salem, VA. In keeping with Pauline’s wishes her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor David Lee officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home form 1:00 PM until the service hour on Saturday.
