Frederick E. “Freddie” East, 49 of 483 Glenwood Haven Rd. in Princeton died Saturday, June 2, 2012, at his residence. Born in Matoaka August 18, 1962 he was the son of the late Cletis Brickey and Violet Lucille Clower East. Before disability he was an employee of the Dietary Department of Princeton Community Hospital. Freddie was a member of the Miracle Deliverance Center in Princeton and took great pride in living with and caring for his mother prior to her death. He was a lifelong resident of Mercer County. In addition to his parent’s two brothers, Jimmy Brickey East and Roger Lee East and his brother-in-law, Willard Stacy preceded him in death. Survivors include one brother, Randall L. East and his wife Faye of Princeton, with whom he made his home for the past five months; three sisters, Rosie Lee Holder and her husband Gray of Westfield, NC, Betty Lou Buckles and her husband Bill of Bluefield, VA and Joyce Lucille Stacy of Princeton. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 P.M. today, Monday, June 4, 2012, at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Dana Truckenmiller officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Park Cemetery in Princeton on Tuesday. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 5:00 P.M. to the service hour this evening, Monday, June 4, 2012. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Those attending the graveside service are asked to be at the funeral home by 10:30 A.M. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
