Obituary for Elizabeth Jane Clemons

Elizabeth Jane Clemons, 89, of 4409 Fox Place (PO Box 1984) in Dublin, VA, 24084, a former resident of Quail Valley in Princeton, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at her residence. Born in Filbert, WV September 15, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth Robosky Forray. Elizabeth made her home in McDowell County until 1980 at which time she and her late husband moved to Quail Valley in Princeton. She remained in Princeton until 2009 when she moved to Dublin, VA to make her home with her daughter, Betty. She was of the Catholic faith and took great pride in providing a wonderful home for her family that she truly loved and enjoyed. In addition to her parent’s her husband, Charles Ray Clemons; one daughter, Linda Lou Clemons; one sister, Anna Leo and two brothers, Louis Forray, Jr. and Joseph Forray preceded her in death. Survivors include one daughter, Betty Lou Clemons Smith of Dublin, VA, with whom she made her home for the past 2 ½ years; two grandchildren, Charles William Smith and his wife Amber of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Jennifer Smith Fisher and her husband Tim of Dublin, VA; five great grandchildren, Rachael Hayes Thompson and her husband Travis, Matthew Hayes, Kayla Hayes, Bailey E. Smith and Mason Co. Smith; one step great-grandchild, Leanna Fisher; three great-great grandchildren, Trevor W. Thompson, Dakota C. Thompson and Rosalee Elaine Thompson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Father John Prinelli officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Stevie Adams, Danny Parker, Travis Thompson, Matt Hayes, Kayla Hayes and Jack Parrish. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Parker, Eddie Yuhasz, Bobby Yuhasz and Everette Frost. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 1:00 P.M. to the service hour on Tuesday.
