William J. “Buddy” Engle, Jr., 84 of Chesapeake, VA died April 21, 2012 at his residence. Born in Williamson, WV December 5, 1927 he was the son of the late William James “Bill” Engle, Sr. and Marye Virginia Hensdill Engle. Mr. Engle was a graduate of Beaver High School and Concord University where he earned his accounting degree. He was a former auditor with the Internal Revenue Service before going with the Naval Audit Service in Virginia Beach, VA where he retired after 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his parent’s one sister, Patsy Ruth Eades and one nephew, Michael Sparks preceded him in death. Survivors include one nephew, David Eades and his wife Angel of Denton, NC and several great-nieces and nephews. Cryptside services followed by entombment in the Engle Family Mausoleum will be conducted at 1:00PM on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton with Rev. Daniel Gunnoe officiating. Those attending the service are asked to be at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton by 12:30 P.M. on Saturday.
