Franklin D. "Frank" Arnett
Franklin D. Arnett of 2103 Pine Grove Road in Lerona went to sleep quietly to awaken in the arms of our Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at his residence. Born March 26, 1937 in Bartholomew County, Indiana to the late Virgil and Shirley Williams Arnett, and the son-in-law of the late Jess and Mildred Starcher of Princeton. Frank was the co-owner and founder of the Rockin’ Chair Residential Care where he gave his all to provide a loving home for the elderly and will be sadly missed by the residents and staff. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Security Intelligent-Military Police and retired in 2000 from IVC Industrial Coatings, Indianapolis, IN where he worked for forty years as a trouble shooter and salesman for the plastic industries. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a member of the Fairview Freewill Baptist Church. Of all his accomplishments in life, the greatest was the night he gave his heart to God. He loved the Lord and would say “I am a winner either way”. He was an inspiration to his family and friends as they watched the Lord change his life.
