Lena L.  Thomas
Lena L. Thomas, 96 of the Angel’s Touch Personal Care Home in Princeton, a former resident of Bluefield Ave., died at her residence with her family by her side on Sunday, September 2, 2012. Born in Ronceverte, WV March 29, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Christopher B. and Nettie Morgan Loudermilk. Lena was a retired employee of One Valley Bank, formerly Mercer County Bank, in Princeton. She was a faithful 50 year member of the First United Methodist Church in Princeton where she was a member and past officer of the United Methodist Women. She was a Charter Member of the Princeton Community Hospital Volunteers and was a member of the Brush Creek Extension Homemaker’s Club, Mercer County Historical Society and the Princeton Chapter of AARP. In addition to her parent’s her husband, Ray R. Thomas, three brothers, Bill, Burt and Ray Loudermik and one sister, Nina Diem preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Danny Thomas and his wife Mary Ann of Princeton and Jeffrey Wayne Thomas and his wife Doris of Roanoke, VA; six grandchildren, Adam Thomas and his wife Stephanie, Erika Thomas, Christa Thomas, Stephanie Schell and her husband Todd, Mary Melinda Ndebele and her husband Lande and Jason Moshier and his fiancé Heather Bridges; eight great-grandchildren; special sisters-in-law, Mary Holroyd Turner and her husband David of Princeton and Mona Thomas of Florida and a brother-in-law, Richard Thomas and his wife Lilly of Lindside. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Scott Sears officiating. Burial will follow in the Swope Cemetery in Lindside, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 12:00 Noon to the service hour on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, P.O.
