Sadie Mullins Goad, 71, of 154 Paynes Fork Road in Oakvale died at the residence of her daughter at Little Pinnacle Road in Nemours on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Born September 27, 1940 in Louisville, KY she was the daughter of the late Brax Mullins and Juanita Everage Mullins. She was a restaurant cook for several years and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel L. Goad; one grandson, Daniel Goad; and three sisters, Hattie Mullins, Mary Mullins, and Martha Mullins. Survivors include one son, Danny Ray Goad and wife Wanda of Oakvale with whom she made her home; three daughters, Angel Poore and husband Shawn of Athens, Ruby Ann Tiller and husband Gerald of Ballard, and Susan O’Donnell and husband Stacy of Nemours; ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Knotts of Louisville, KY; and two brothers, Clarence “Pete” Mullins and wife Mary and Christopher “Chris” Mullins and wife Carol all of Louisville, KY. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 28, 2012 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Chris Richards officiating. Burial will follow at the Maxey Ferguson Cemetery in Spanishburg. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 27, 2012.
