Wilson Irwin "Dowin" Ingrahm (Belcher)
Wilson Irwin “Dowin” Belcher Ingrahm, 70, of 147 Beulah Lane in Princeton died peacefully with her family by her side, Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at her residence. Born September 30, 1942, in Princeton she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Belcher and Mildred Loiden Harvey Belcher. Irwin was a 1960 graduate of Princeton High School and attended Concord University. She was a retired receptionist at the Total Life Family Practice in Princeton. A true servant at heart, Irwin loved people and working with the public. She often referred to the patients she served as “her patients”. She was a member of the Kee Street United Methodist Church and a member of the Dayton Neal Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Women. Irwin spent most of her life taking care of and serving members of her family. She had a generous, giving, loving and kind spirit. Most of all she loved being a wife, mom, and homemaker. She loved putting a smile on the faces of friends and family with her homemade yeast rolls. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of forty eight years, Robert “Bob” Ingrahm of Princeton; one daughter, Jackie Massie and husband Will of Asheboro, NC; one son, Robbie Ingrahm and wife Linda of Princeton; two granddaughters, Keri Anne Massie and Hannah Elizabeth Ingrahm; one sister, Karen Belcher Harvey and husband John David of Princeton; one brother, Tobias “Toby” Belcher and wife Pat of Princeton; the special health care providers at Wake Forest Baptist and Princeton; and the members of Hospice Compassus who helped through this difficult time. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 2, 2012, at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Meredith Gudger-Raines officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 1, 2012, at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton.
