Icie Bolen, 88 of 4003 Odd Rd. in Josephine, WV died Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Raleigh General Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Basin, WV October 13, 1924 she was the daughter of the late A. B. and Marcia Reed Graham. She was a member of Grassy Banks Community Church in Josephine and lived her life as a devoted Christian and homemaker who loved and cared for her family. In addition to her parent’s her husband, Bruce Bolen; one son, Jack Bolen and two brothers, Berny Graham and Ray Graham preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Bruce Bolen, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Odd, Danny Bolen and his wife Renee of Beaver and Billy Bolen and his wife Barbara of Warrenton, VA; five daughters, Dessie McClung and her husband Claude of Peterstown, Shirley Cole and her husband Dale of Odd, Virginia Halsey and her husband Charles of Josephine, Brenda Todd of Chico, CA and Linda Bolen and her husband Gary of Josephine; 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and one brother, Billy Graham and his wife Elsie of Indiana. In keeping with her wishes Icie has been cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Grassy Bank Community Church, Josephine, WV 25857.
