Daphine Diane Farmer, 53, of Mercer Manor in Princeton passed away on Monday, November 22, 2010 at her residence following a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Princeton. Daphine was a member of the Tazewell Moose Lodge #198. She is survived by two children, Frederick Martin Kanode and Brandon Lee Farmer both of Princeton; one stepson, Carlos Kinser of Princeton; two grandchildren, Amanda Kanode and Cory Kanode both of Rocky Gap, VA; one brother, Franklin Farmer and wife Linda of Princeton; and one sister, Jean Woods of Summerville, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert Ray Farmer and Martha Ladenia Reed Farmer; one stepson, Clyde Lee Kinser; four brothers, James Gilbert Farmer, Freddie Joe Farmer, Michael Ray Farmer, and Floyd Brownlow Farmer; and one sister, Marilyn Lennette Brooks. To abide by Daphine’s wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Fairview Christian Community Church in Princeton with Rev. Larry Dyer officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Johnson Cemetery, Black Oak Mountain in Princeton. Friends may call at the church from 1:00 PM until the service hour on Sunday.
