EULA C. OXLEY
Eula C. Oxley, 77, of 120 Vector Lane in Princeton died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV. Born April 13, 1934 in Montcalm she was the daughter of the late Albert J. Reece and Cynthia Osborne Reece. She was a 1952 graduate of Princeton High School and a member of the Athens Baptist Church. Eula was a former secretary at Pepsi Cola Bottling in Princeton and the Mercer County Board of Education. She was also a former Reservation Supervisor at Pipestem State Park and part-time employee of Roller Floral Co. in Princeton. She enjoyed crafts and floral arranging. In addition to her parents, one son, Joseph Charles Oxley; and one brother, Willie J. Reece preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of fifty four years, Jackie Bird “Jack” Oxley of Princeton; two daughters, Melissa Oxley Haye and husband Patrick and Cynthia J. Crowe and husband Steve all of Princeton; one son, Joel Thomas Oxley and wife Kristen of Charleston, WV; seven grandchildren, Laura Haye Presley and husband Chris, Sara Haye, Daniel Haye, Stephanie Crowe Handley and husband Kevin, Tyler Crowe, Jared Oxley, and Morgan Oxley; three nieces, Connie Scott and husband Fred of Princeton, Debbie Lucado and husband Jerry of Palmyra, VA and Judy Reece of Princeton and very special friend, Sandy Oxley of Olathe, KA. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 23, 2011 at The George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Susan Rector officiating. Burial will follow at the Athens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Crowe, Kevin Handley, Daniel Haye, Brian Oxley, Jared Oxley, Steven Oxley, Chris Presley and Dale Wilie. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Sunday, May 22, 2011.
