Vera Sue Osburn, 78, of 4018 West Honaker Avenue in Princeton died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born March 11, 1933 in Princeton she was the daughter of the late Arthur Owens and Mary Ethel Owens. In addition to her parents, eight brothers, Walter Owens, George Owens, Fred Owens, Frank Owens, Arthur Owens, Jr., Herbert Owens, Clifford Owens, and Doug Owens; and three sisters, Betty Ruth Owens, Mary Lou Owens, and Sandra Helen Beard preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Jacqualine Williams and husband Paul of Winfield, WV and Carolyn Yvonne Osburn and fiancé Michael Baker of Princeton; one son, Carl Russell Oburn of Princeton; seven grandchildren, Tara Williams and fiancé Danny Endicott, Matthew Williams and wife Tara, Heath Osburn, Courtney Osburn, Rusty Osborn, John “J.R.” Osburn, and Morgan Baker; four great grandchildren, Jacob Walker, Christopher Endicott, Chelsie Endicott, and Taylor Endicott; one brother, Ralph Owens of Tampa, FL; special great nephew, Joshua Owens; and special friends, Ashley Brown, Myra Blake, Kathy Osburn, and Louise Price. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Richard Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Wednesday.
