Condolences

Condolence From: Lisa Belcher-Barton
Condolence: Tink was one of my favorite people. He always was supportive of me in words & in prayer for as long as I grew up & attended Melrose. I could always count on him to lift my spirits if I was down, giving my a hug & a smile. His humor was unlike any I've ever known &, in my opinion, was one of his best qualities. He set a Christian, Godly example before me growing up as an active leader & worker in Melrose Church. Whenever there was a problem, he was one we all knew would be there to make things alright again. I loved him dearly & will remember him always. Love & prayers to you all. Lisa Belcher-Barton

Condolence From: Kris Davis Bailey
Condolence: I would like to express my sincere condolences to Mrs. Oxley and family. I use to go with my mother, Donna Davis, to get items printed for PTA and was always greeted by Mr. Oxley and Jack Scott! That was several years ago. They were always laughing and joking. May the memories you have give you comfort in the days ahead. Mr. Oxley was a kind and gentle spirit. Peace be with you.

Condolence: Tibby, Terry and family - I was sorry to hear of Tink's passing. It was probably about a year ago when I saw you with him in the hospital, and I know you were so concerned about his health at that time. Tink was always so full of himself - smiling, joking around. Because of our common relatives, I always thought of you all as more than friends and neighbors.....you were extended family. I look forward to a family reunion in heaven where we'll see Tink, Nancy, my mom and so many others that we miss so much. May the peace and comfort that can come only from God be with you now and in the days ahead.

Condolence: Ed, I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. You and your family are in my prayers. You will miss him terribly, but you can take comfort in knowing, without a doubt, he is in a much better place. The tough days are ahead, but you have some great memories to help you through. He was a good man and a great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and you can be proud of how he lived his life and how he touched the lives of so many others. The world would be a much better place if there were more men like him. And you know he has everyone in Heaven laughing already. Prayers for strength and hugs for "just because".
